Alpine has continued to receive multiple changes and additions to the team over the past two seasons. The major change was Bruno Famin’s exit after the new team principal was appointed. Another massive change was Flavio Briatore’s entry to the team as Executive Advisor. The Italian businessman has now reportedly set his eyes on aero-genius Adrian Newey.

The news of Adrian Newey’s exit from Red Bull came as a surprise to everyone on the grid. The technical wizard had continued to be considered for a job in multiple teams. Flavio Briatore and Alpine have been believed to provide Newey with a lot of financial freedom apart from other benefits.

The history between the technical wizard and Renault would furthermore push the 65-year-old to make the move. Although Newey has continued to maintain silence on the matter, the aero-genius will likely provide a final call on his future in the pinnacle of motorsport.

Adrian Newey’s wife Amanda Newey another reason for being interested in Alpine

Amanda Newey wishes to spend some more time with her husband in her homeland of South Africa. However, the aero-genius has an aversion to moving out of his homeland in England. Alpine’s factory in Enstone would further allow the 65-year-old to confirm a deal with the French constructor in Formula 1.

Adrian Newey’s exit from Red Bull has opened up a plethora of opportunities for the aero-genius. The 65-year-old has continued to be the center of rumors for joining Aston Martin, Ferrari, etc. However, multiple people have believed the technical wizard to take a break from the sport after serving Red Bull for a very long time.

The competition has continued to build up at the front end in the 2024 season. Newey’s exceptional work at Red Bull will continue to reward the team with a great base for the chassis setup. The aero-genius will take a lot of learnings and information to the rival teams if he decides to join any other constructor apart from Milton Keynes.
