British Formula One engineer Adrian Newey is one of the most sought-after personnel on the grid. Newey declared his departure from Red Bull Racing in 2025, which has led the other teams into a frenzy to sign him.

Adrian Newey has been the brains behind the design and aerodynamics of the Milton-Keynes-based team since 2006. Newey’s career stats boast cars that have won 13 drivers’ championships and 12 constructors’ championships across three teams.

Many teams have been in a hunt for the 65-year-old aerodynamicist, with Aston Martin emerging as a surprise competitor as of late. The Silverstone-based team has reportedly become of prominent appeal to Newey as well.

Aston Martin is currently fifth in the championship with only 73 points to their name. The team has witnessed a major downfall in comparison to their performance during the previous season. They will now hope to make major changes with hopes of a massive resurgence next year.
