Audi reveals $74 billion worth giant as its first F1 partner for 2026
Audi has revealed their first partner that will also have the marketing rights for the team.

The 2026 F1 season would be fascinating due to the major changes to multiple teams under the new regulations. Audi’s acquisition of Sauber is one of the major highlights coming into 2026.
Hence, Audi revealed a major giant as their first partner amidst the German carmaker’s preparations for an F1 entry. Audi has already confirmed Nico Hulkenberg as one of their drivers for the 2026 season.
Moreover, amidst the search for the second driver, the automobile giant revealed their first partner. Audi will link up with Castrol before arriving on the grid in 2026. Castrol is widely known in the MotoGP industry and other automotive industries.
Castrol is priced at a whopping $74 Billion. Hence, the Oil-industry giant also has marketing rights for BP, Castrol, and Aral brands. Apart from this, it will provide Audi’s F1 team with bespoke lubricants and greases which would be crucial during the chassis development process.

Audi F1 CEO Andreas Seidl deems the Castrol-Audi deal a ‘perfect match’
Andreas Seidl will lead Audi’s F1 team after their arrival in the 2026 season. Seidl revealed that the German outfit’s deal with BP had always been successful in motorsport. Hence, the team principal was delighted to take the partnership to the next level in F1.
