Fred is very emotionally flat, and that helps a team like Ferrari so much because the team is all the opposite… Emotions run very high both ways, whether they are good or bad.

Charles Leclerc told The New York Times.

Leclerc furthered his compliments and added that the Frenchman managed the team well regardless of the emotions being good or super bad over a race weekend. The Monegasque revealed that twenty minutes after a race, Vasseur was ready for a meeting to discuss the performance. Fred is the kind of guy that manages straight away, even within a weekend where emotions can be super good or super bad, to take a step back. Twenty minutes after a race, we all sit down together, and he’s already on a very good analysis, putting emotions aside, and that’s a huge quality to run Ferrari.

Charles Leclerc added

Fred Vasseur has always had ‘consistency’ while leading Ferrari

Fred Vasseur’s consistent efforts have helped Ferrari secure a huge difference in performance as compared to the earlier years. Charles Leclerc believed that the 56-year-old always ‘had it’ in himself to lead a team like Maranello. Leclerc reiterated the team principal’s ‘consistency’ in terms of personality. I feel like he’s always had that in himself. He’s always had the consistency. Whenever I go and see Fred, I know what to expect. It’s not like there’s any kind of difference in humour or whatever.

Fred Vasseur noted.

Ferrari has a massive advantage alongside Lewis Hamilton in the 2025 season. The highly experienced seven-time world champion alongside Leclerc would form a highly formidable pair. The final edition of the ground-effect era would be highly interesting as both the championships seem divided equally amongst multiple teams and drivers.
