Ferrari implemented multiple upgrades in the challenger after the Monaco GP. However, the updates haven’t given the best results to the constructor just yet. Charles Leclerc could only manage a P6 position while Carlos Sainz finished in P4. Hence, the two drivers will have to work hard to move up the pecking order at the Austrian GP.

Despite the multiple upgrades, Ferrari was far from scoring the pole position at the Austrian GP. Hence, Leclerc noted that it was a shame that he wasn’t able to showcase the best possible results. The team had more potential that the Monegasque couldn’t tap into and score the coveted pole position at Red Bull’s home race.

It's just a shame I didn't show the better potential we had in Q3.
Charles Leclerc told during the post-session interivew.

Ferrari will have to continue to implement further in-season upgrades in the 2024 season. The team is desperately losing out to McLaren and Red Bull in the development war. Hence, Maranello needs to seriously rediscover their start-of-the-season form and start performing better down the season.
