When I was with Seb, for example, I hated finding myself behind him, I knew it was my first year at Ferrari and that I was competing with a much more experienced teammate, but I thought that was enough of an excuse. As far as I’m concerned, I hate being beaten.

Leclerc has improved, becoming a sworn challenger for the title since his early days alongside Vettel. He will hope to build further on his abilities in order to win the revered championship title in the future.

We became more aggressive. For me, this new basic attitude had more impact than anything else. That means daring to step out of your comfort zone. Whether it’s the amount of fuel you need for the race, the weight, the cooling, or the car’s set-up.
Fred Vasseur told Auto Motor und Sport

Fred Vasseur has praised the aggressive turnaround in the Maranello-based outfit over the span of the last 12 months. He has also pressed on the need for teams to be a daring force in order to dominate races in Formula 1.

Vasseur’s guidance has driven the team to a strong position this season, in which they have amassed 345 points so far. They will now hope to keep up with the same intensity in order to bounce back to winning ways after the summer break.
