Following the first two practice sessions at Monaco GP, Ferrari has showcased itself as a viable competitor this weekend. Charles Leclerc highlighted the Maranello-based team’s pace in FP2 by topping the timesheets. The nature of the street track has deemed the Monegasque optimistic for the race ahead.
The street track of Monaco is considered be one of the most challenging track. Charles Leclerc emphasized on maintaining focus and putting the best foot forward due to the same. Maintaining the same rhythm into FP3 and qualifying is of the utmost importance.

The Monegasque mentioned about driving at a slightly riskier end than others for practice, which may have pushed the team into achieving better results. Concluding his statement, Charles Leclerc described Friday as a positive day. Moving further into the weekend, the Italian team remains focused on finishing the qualifying with similar, if not better results. On the other hand, Red Bull is alarmed by Leclerc’s pace.

Ferrari exhibiting their newfound pace has deemed Charles Leclerc confidant for qualifying. The Monegasque finished FP2 setting a lap time faster than the year before. The team is working in a positive direction this weekend.
Despite being armed with new upgrades during the race at Imola, Ferrari was unable to lead a successful qualifying. The team faced issues regarding engine deployment, however, such a case seems to be out of question ahead of the Monaco GP, given the nature of the track. The Monegasque pointed out his ability to reduce his lap times, following a look at his three sectors.
