Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was presented with the golden opportunity to ride aboard a Rafale fighter plane. Leclerc is set to take part in a French Air Force training mission, which will be documented by CANAL+.
Fighter pilots and Formula 1 drivers, though being starkly different professions, share a common trait in their lives. Both individuals are accustomed to withstand huge amounts of G forces common to riding an F1 car and a fighter jet.
Charles Leclerc was seen getting exhilarated upon stepping into the Rafale fighter plane in a glimpse of the upcoming documentary. The series starring fighter pilots and the Monegasque driver is named ‘Supersonique’ (supersonic).

Leclerc is fresh off of winning the 2024 United States Grand Prix last weekend and has been in top form this season. As the Formula 1 season nears a close, the 27-year-old will look to keep up and finish his campaign on a mighty high.
Charles Leclerc believes Ferrari can catch McLaren in the title race
McLaren leads the constructors’ championship with a lead of 40 points to second-placed Red Bull this year. Ferrari stands third but trails by only 48 points to the Woking-based team and is keen on their chances still.
If we do everything right and continue to finish ahead of McLaren at the end of the Abu Dhabi GP, we can be ahead and win the title, counting only on ourselves and our performance.

Leclerc therefore believes that the Maranello-based team is capable of winning the title this season. He urges his team to finish ahead of the Papayas in every race until the Abu Dhabi GP to claim the coveted constructors’ championship this year.
The upcoming races of Mexico and Brazil will be stern to the top teams in determining their title chances. The fight between Red Bull, McLaren, and Ferrari will nonetheless be a feast for the viewers here on. All three teams are in with a decent shot at the coveted constructors’ championship.
