Ferrari has continued to face massive struggles mid-way through the 2024 season after the summer break. The team was expected to showcase an upturn in performance. However, the Dutch GP wasn’t much surprising for the Italian constructor as the season woes have continued. Charles Leclerc lamented the disappointing chassis performance after declining race win chances.

Charles Leclerc had great hopes for Ferrari, especially after the summer break at the Dutch GP. The team worked on their chassis to improve performance and fend off against the in-form Mercedes. Leclerc qualified in P6 and quickly moved up the pecking order. The Monegasque fought out on the track and has continued to secure a podium finish.

However, the Turn 10 of the Zandvoort circuit has been considered to be tricky for Ferrari’s SF-24 chassis. Leclerc’s race engineer suggested the driver some changes to fix the issues on the turn. The 26-year-old wasn’t impressed with the changes as he claimed that there was no point. The reason for this was that the chassis was just ‘sh*t’ no matter what the Monegasque did on the track.

Please stop thinking about turn 10. The car is s**t there whatever I do.

Charles Leclerc claimed he had ‘enough’ after being ‘out of control’ at the Dutch GP

Charles Leclerc isn’t the happiest on the grid with Ferrari’s struggling pace despite being on the path to a podium finish. The Monegasque took to team radio to further showcase his resentment. Leclerc asked the team to stop speaking about him. The 26-year-old claimed he was out of control and had enough of the issues.

It's okay. Please stop speaking about me. I'm out of control and I've had enough. Copy. Guys, sit there. Whatever I do.
Charles Leclerc added.

Ferrari will have to continue to work on their performance to deem a mid-season comeback in performance. The team also has to take in learnings for the coming season to make way for Lewis Hamilton. Maranello’s current pace might enable Mercedes to potentially close in on the team if not overcome them.
