Charles Leclerc asserts he’d like a ‘winning car’ from Ferrari amidst ongoing struggles in F1
Charles Leclerc didn't hesitate to point out that he expected a better chassis performance from Ferrari in the 2024 season.

Ferrari had deemed a great start to the 2024 season and was closely following Red Bull’s dominant pace. However, the Italian constructor faced massive struggles mid-way through the campaign and has since lost performance. Hence, speaking upon this, Charles Leclerc laments the disappointing chassis performance as he wished for a winning car.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz each scored a race victory before the struggles started. Leclerc’s Monaco win was followed up with disappointing performances over the next race weekends. The major package upgrade introduced in the Emilia Romagna GP is believed to be the issue in the chassis.
Regardless, Leclerc noted that the team wasn’t in the desired place mid-way through the 2024 season. The Monegasque reiterated that Scuderia’s crew was working hard despite the disappointment. Hence, the 26-year-old hoped for a ‘bright future’ ahead. Subsequently, Leclerc didn’t hesitate to point out that he wished for a winning car from Ferrari.

Charles Leclerc wants to win the World Championship ‘only’ with Ferrari
Charles Leclerc has driven as a Ferrari driver for the majority of his F1 career. Hence, the 26-year-old has kept the dream alive to score a drivers’ title with Maranello. As a result, he proudly highlighted that his goal was to score a world championship, and that too only with Ferrari and not with any other teams on the grid.

Ferrari will have to work tirelessly on their form over the summer break. The team has continued to implement upgrades in the chassis despite the decline in performance. Hence, the team needs to rejoin the battle for championship contention, especially after the massive threat from improving Mercedes’ pace.
