Christian Horner was brutally sacked from Red Bull mid-way through the 2025 season. Amid the team’s failing performances, Horner was unable to get a grip on the issues and make the team perform better. After a disappointing end to his career at Red Bull after serving them for over 2 decades, the 51-year-old was spotted enjoying some quality time with his Spice Girl fame wife, Geri Halliwell, and kids on a Croatian island.

Amid the rumors of Christian Horner‘s move to Alpine or potentially even Cadillac after they join the F1 grid in the 2026 season, the former seems in no particular hurry to confirm his situation. The 51-year-old took a much-needed break from the sport and enjoyed some time off with his family. He was accompanied by his Spice Girl-famed wife, Geri Halliwell.

According to a Croatian media outlet, Tportal, Christian Horner is enjoying his summer vacation with his wife and kids on a superyacht. The yacht is currently sailing on the Adriatic Sea, as the destination of the trip seems unknown. However, from the images shared online by the paparazzi, it is evident that the 51-year-old is having a lot of fun.

On the superyacht trip, Horner is joined by his wife, Geri Halliwell, whom he married in 2015. They are accompanied by their son and Halliwell’s daughter from her previous relationship, amongst others as well. Together, they form a blended yet close-knit family, and this trip highlights the loving bond they share.

Christian Horner wouldn’t have a worry in the world about Formula 1 and Red Bull, and can completely enjoy the time off. The Briton was recently relinquished from all of his roles within the Austrian constructor, as it meant he was no longer connected in any way, shape, or form to the company.

Helmut Marko reveals what sets Laurent Mekies ‘apart’ from Christian Horner

Mekies will be met with a massive challenge of leading the team in an already unstable state. However, Milton Keynes’ advisor, Dr. Helmut Marko, reveals the key difference between Mekies and Horner.

Helmut Marko asserted that Laurent Mekies made a very good debut after joining Red Bull mid-way through the 2025 season. Marko insisted that the Frenchman made intensive use of his time and got to work immediately. The 82-year-old pointed out that the factor that set Mekies apart from Christian Horner was that the former was an excellent engineer. As such, the new team principal focused more on the technological aspect, which was also Red Bull’s goal for the team leader.

Max Verstappen is giving it his all, but is unable to contend for race wins anymore. As such, the Austrian outfit must provide the reigning world champion with the best possible machinery in the races to come.
