Helmut Marko asserted that Laurent Mekies made a very good debut after joining Red Bull mid-way through the 2025 season. Marko insisted that the Frenchman made intensive use of his time and got to work immediately. The 82-year-old pointed out that the factor that set Mekies apart from Christian Horner was that the former was an excellent engineer.
