Christian Horner confesses Red Bull driver pool facing ‘issues’ after Sergio Perez’s extension
Christian Horner admitted that Red Bull's decision to retain Sergio Perez could impact the Austrian team's driver program.

Speculations regarding Sergio Perez’s last race in Belgium were created during the Belgian GP. However, Red Bull announced that Perez remains with the team despite his performance in the last race. The rumors also suggested that if he had to leave then RB driver Daniel Ricciardo would replace him, but any of the situation didn’t happen within Red Bull. Team principal Christian Horner claims Red Bull driver’s facing problems after Checo’s extension.
Christian Horner stated that while Red Bull might be facing problems right now they are also focusing on finding solutions for the future. The problems might be because of Sergio Perez remaining with the team. He believed that the team has a lot of skilled and talented drivers. This gives him confidence that they can overcome current challenges and continue to be successful in the long run. Horner reckoned this talent pool is crucial for both solving current problems and achieving future goals of the team.

Christian Horner highlighted the various talents within Red Bull. He mentioned that they have a mix of experienced drivers and younger, promising ones. Specifically, he pointed out Liam Lawson as someone who was waiting for his chance to shine. Isack Hadjar who is performing excellently in Formula 2, and Arvid Lindblad as an exciting new talent in Formula 3. The 50-year-old stated that the team has assembled a diverse group of young talents. This emerging talent is what makes the team strong and promising for the future.

Christian Horner reveals Daniel Ricciardo and Liam Lawson’s extensive filming day
Christian Horner while talking to media said that the Imola outing is simply for content purpose. Daniel Ricciardo and Liam Lawson will be involved with VCARB01 filming content for the team. They’re using Red Bull’s current car because it can drive up to 200 kilometers. Therefore both the drivers are involved filming necessary content for the team ahead of the Dutch GP.
It’s a filming day, so they’ll be filming, So, it’s all about content. It is in a current car because you can do 200 kilometers in the current car, so they will both be doing plenty of filming.Christian Horner stated
Certainly, as Daniel Ricciardo and Liam Lawson failed to replace Sergio Perez. The team is testing them on the car in Imola for content purposes and not for replacing Perez. Red Bull decided not to make any changes in their driver lineup as suggested by the rumors. Fans hope the next fourteen races would be a comeback for the Milton Keynes with both their drivers.
