Damon Hill has been ever-present on Formula 1 social media since he retired from the sport. The Briton also doesn’t hesitate to put forth his honest opinions on any matter relating to him. Recently, the 64-year-old berated Billionaire businessman Elon Musk‘s bizarre change of the naming of Twitter to X and proposed a hilarious new name.
Damon Hill had previously called out Elon Musk over X’s preposterous rules regarding users following their country’s guidelines while using the app. Subsequently, the former claimed Musk was the reason behind the massive riots in the UK. Amidst this, Hill commented on the application’s name change which caused him trouble.
Initially, Hill claimed that he had trouble adopting the new appellation of Twitter to X. The Briton felt compelled to make clarifications and call the app Twitter regardless. As a result, he suggested a new name, an amalgamation of Twitter/X. Damon Hill hilariously suggested the new name as ‘Twix’ for the social media company.
Ware having trouble adopting the new appellation 'X', feeling compelled to refer – for clarification – to the term 'Twitter', leaving us to stumble forward with the gobstopping 'Twitter/X'. So I would like to propose an amalgamated nomenclature of ………TWIX! #X #Twitter #TWIX

Damon Hill took a dig at FIA’s new ban on swearing
FIA banned the overall use of swear words in and around the circuit during a race weekend. The governing body had already received its fair share of backlash over this decision. However, Damon Hill didn’t miss the opportunity to take a dig at this new rule as well. Hill claimed that he was ‘tired’ of apologizing on behalf of the people for using swear words in the sport.
I'm getting tired of having to apologise for these fucking people. #f1 https://t.co/WGFSLTsf3F

Hill’s brutal honesty and criticism are one of the better traits of the Ex-F1 driver. He doesn’t hesitate to call out FIA and other drivers on the track over their mistakes. Hence, the community continues to respect the straightforward and honest approach of Hill despite exiting the sport.
