Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur has revealed his team’s plans ahead of their home race in Monza. The Maranello-based outfit has secured consecutive podiums since Spa but remains powerless against Red Bull and McLaren.
Ferrari stands third in the constructors’ championship with 370 points so far this season. The Italian outfit started the campaign in strong form, looking to challenge wholly for the title. However, they have been fairly lackluster and sometimes poor in their efforts ever since their memorable win at Monaco.

Fred Vasseur has thereafter announced newer upgrades to the SF-24 to make a return to winning ways at their home race. The Maranello-based team has failed to win the iconic Italian Grand Prix since 2019.
The aim for me, the drivers and everyone at the Scuderia is to give the tifosi something to cheer about again. With that in mind, we have prepared the car with great care and we are bringing some updates to the SF-24 that we hope will allow us to take another step forward in terms of performance.Fred Vasseur via soymotor
The upgrades within the SF-24 were previously not as successful as the team had hoped for. They will now look to make their best efforts in order to present a race-winning car ahead of the massive Tifosi crowd this week.
Ferrari to push until the end amidst heated title battle
The 2024 title race has garnered unparalleled momentum, with seven different race winners in 15 races so far. Fred Vasseur has shared his opinion on the close battle between the top four teams in the constructors’ championship.

The fight is huge. Everybody is pushing like hell. Everybody is bringing upgrades as soon as possible. It will be our turn next week. And it will be like this until the end of the season.Fred Vasseur via gpblog
Vasseur claimed that the major differences between the performances of the team lie within the development of their upgrades. The Frenchman also indicated that the upcoming race would be a better outing for his team.
Red Bull leads the championship with seven wins, followed by McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes, the first two have managed two wins whereas, Mercedes has so far put on board three. The remaining nine races of the season will be a stern test for them, all featuring a series of varying tracks and conditions.
