The 2024 Formula 1 season resumes this weekend with the first race at Zandvoort. The last four races before the summer break showed the competition becoming very exciting and intense. Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur admits that the team needs to work hard and improve significantly to secure positive results.
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur recently talked about the first event in Zandvoort after summer break. He pointed out that this track is very different from the previous track in Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps. Unlike Spa, which is long and has different kinds of corners, Zandvoort is short, narrow, and has many tight turns. Vasseur explained that this difficulty had placed a challenge in front of them. However, The 56-year-old reckoned it important for the team to pay close attention to every small detail when preparing the car.
We go racing once again at Zandvoort, a completely different track to Spa, being short, narrow and twisty. Therefore, ensuring we do everything right, down to the last little detail, will be vital and qualifying will be especially important as overtaking is very difficult.Fred Vasseur said.
Vasseur explained that the team usually focus on extracting every bit of the performance and will continue to do so. He emphasized, Ferrari will work hard to make sure every part of the car is performing at its best. Ferrari’s goal is to ensure that the car is as fast and competitive as it can be. This will eventually help them achieve the best outcomes in the race.
As always, we will focus on getting every last drop of performance out of our package.Fred Vasseur added.
