Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal, Fred Vasseur has brought light to the team over slipping into a worst-case scenario amidst their steady rise in form. The Italian outfit has won two races this season, the latest being the Monaco Grand Prix.

Ferrari has hit the ground running and has managed to pick up the pace in comparison to the standards of Red Bull, who were extremely dominant last season. Fred Vasseur has praised his team for their willful execution and hard work for the strong results.

Vasseur has hence, also warned his team about the possible misfortunes that may come their way in the course of the ongoing season. He also called for the continuation of consistency to stand a chance at fighting for the title till the very end.

We have to continue like this, but the worst-case scenario would be to imagine that it's done, that it will be like this until the end. I'm convinced that, as I said before, we'll have different tracks with different layouts, different characteristics. We are competing more with McLaren or Red Bull and it will be up and down until the end of the season.

McLaren has also been on par with their developments and pace with Ferrari and Red Bull this season. As the campaign progresses, it becomes increasingly important for the Italian team to be at their absolute best in this three-horse championship race.

Ex-F1 star hints at Adrian Newey’s move to Ferrari

Former F1 driver, Giedo van der Garde has hinted at a possible transfer of Adrian Newey to Scuderia Ferrari for the coming season. Newey announced earlier this year he would be departing from Red Bull after 18 glorious years with the team.

What [Vasseur] has done for Ferrari in recent years is very impressive. Strategically he has put in different people, and he has linked a new [race] engineer to Leclerc. He won right away [in Monaco last weekend]. He has attracted other people to the team, and he has Adrian Newey. You can really see that the team is becoming more professional and that he is putting the right people in the right places.

van der Garde has spoken in praise of Ferrari’s Team Principal saying that Vasseur has transformed the attitude within the team by appointing the right people for the right positions. He also said that Vasseur attracts people to his team and that Adrian Newey might also feel the same way about the Ferrari boss.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz‘s efforts have put Ferrari in a position where the team is 24 points behind the leaders Red Bull in the constructors’ championship. Moreover, from 2025 onwards, the prospect of an exceptional designer like Adrian Newey will greatly add to the fortunes of Ferrari if they continue to put in the work and dedication to fight for the title.
