Ferrari has scored consecutive podiums since Spa and will be looking to carry forward its momentum this weekend as well. The new upgrades in the SF-24 are expected to provide Leclerc with the required pace in order to triumph at Monza.

Charles Leclerc doesn’t view Monza as a proper test for SF-24′ upgrades

Ferrari’s SF-24 heads into the Italian Grand Prix desperately needing to find greater pace against the likes of McLaren and Red Bull. Charles Leclerc has since shared his thoughts on the team’s advancements ahead of the race.

Let’s say that there were very specific characteristics of the car that we had to improve. I’m not going to go too much into details, and this is where those upgrades should help us. Then we’ll see, because I don’t think Monza is the best track to judge those upgrades. Probably Baku or Singapore will be more of a test for us, but it should go in the right direction anyway. But by how much, I don’t know yet.
Charles Leclerc told PlanetF1.com

Leclerc claimed that the SF-24 needed improvements around certain sections which were hindering its performance. He, however, quickly pointed out that the temple of speed might not be suitable for the newer advancements to play their part.

The Maranello-based team has been winless since the Monaco Grand Prix this year. They will now hope to maximize their results and performances around the 5.793 km Monza racing circuit.
