Former Red Bull driver Mark Webber spoke about how important Dietrich Mateschitz, the co-founder of Red Bull, was for the team’s success. He highlighted Mateschitz vision for what he wanted the team to achieve. Webber felt lucky to have been part of that journey.

Mark Webber described his early days with Red Bull Racing as an incredible experience, likening it to being in Disneyland. He felt excited about their journey, especially since they were competing against much larger and more established teams in Formula 1. He highlighted looking back, felt proud to have been part of such an extraordinary adventure in racing.

I think being there in the early days was phenomenal, I think we were [like] in Disneyland if we thought what this team was going to achieve in Formula 1 against all the giants in the industry that have been around here for more than a decade.

No one can touch this event, so to do it on the team’s home turf in the UK after 20 years, it’s surely a special day for me.
