Interrupting in a political scene is not new for Elon Musk. The 53-year-old has been an active political player in US politics and has now stepped foot in the United Kingdom’s administrative issues. Witnessing this, ex-F1 driver turned commentator, Martin Brundle was left infuriated and shared an anger-charged message.

Martin Brundle is regarded as one of the best F1 commentators and journalists. Though he was unable to have an elusive F1 career, he has been on the top lists of many fans for his amiable nature. On the other hand, he is also known to be a bit patriotic apart from the world of F1 and was recently awarded OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire).

Amidst such celebrations, Tesla and X owner Elon Musk went out on a rampage on X/Twitter. He did not spare any party and most importantly lashed at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for not paying heed to the scandals going on within the nation.

While Musk was not alone in Starmer’s criticism, his words were highlighted due to his stature worldwide. Subsequently, Brundle also reacted to the 53-year-old’s intervention in UK matters in a stark way.

I’m conflicted. I like Twitter/X and it has served F1, Sky, me, and people around me, very well for a good while. But Elon Musk is such a daily globally interfering d**k I feel the need to go somewhere else.

On the other hand, he also revealed the possibility of leaving X in the grand scheme of things. He reckoned that Musk was exploiting his freedom of speech in a way that troubled the nation.

Brundle’s strong words led people to believe that he might leave X officially. However, the 65-year-old was battered in the comments of his post. This led him to rethink his decision and choice of words that he had conveyed in his previous post.

Brundle remained accountable and asserted that he would not be leaving X. Furthermore, he stated that everyone is entitled to their opinions, which might appear as a PR-way to cover up the reaction to his previous post.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the diversity to my last post, including the negativity. That’s what keeps you alive and motivated, and in touch. I’ll stick with Twitter/X and keep my mind open. Opinions are like noses, everybody’s got one and they all count.

On the other hand, the 65-year-old is expected to be present at the grand F1 75 event in London. Cars and drivers would be draped in new colors for the 2025 season, which is expected to be an exciting challenge for the entire grid.
