Miami GP reportedly takes legal action against Donald Trump’s ally over plans to host fundraiser during the race

The U.S.A. is also getting ready for its presidential elections with Current President Joe Biden running against his predecessor Donal Trump. A lot of money is spent in campaigning, and they are raised via mostly fundraiser events. Trump’s lead ‘s ally, Steven Witkoff was planning to use his Paddock Club pass at Miami GP for fundraising.

But according to reports from the Washington Post, the Miami Grand Prix organizers has put an end to this plan by sending him a cease-and-desist letter. The track is infamous or its sky-high ticket prices, as even the standard pass started from $500. Witkoff was planning to sell tickets for Paddock Club Rooftop Suite, which he has previously purchased, for $250,000 in order to raise funds for Donald Trump‘s campaign.

However, the organizers were not quite happy with the fundraiser event and declared Witkoff’s pass null and void. The race organizers sent the Republican’s ally a letter informing them their ticket was now revoked as it violated the terms and conditions of the suite. Subsequently, the letter stated that Witkoff would be refunded in full for the same but would not be allowed to attend the race, even another ticket.

Donald Trump’s ally reacted to the reports

The F1 race at Miami is part of the trinity of F1 races held in America. Moreover, the race is anticipated to be a better one than its prequels, as teams would bring upgrades to the street circuit. However, before the race, the cease-and-desist letter seemed to garner negative attention.

The Trump supporter refuted to have received any letter regarding the same. The CEO of Witkoff Group was infuriated with the speculations looming around his pass and claimed the news to be fake.

However, according to reports, multiple people testified that Wifkoff was planning to sell the ticket for a quarter of a million dollars to whoever wanted to attend the event.

Despite the controversies, the Miami GP is in full swing to hone F1 machinery around it. Moreover, teams and drivers have revealed special helmets and liveries over the years so it would be a flashing event nonetheless in Florida.
