Monaco GP

The Monaco Grand Prix is a yearly Formula One race held on the Circuit de Monaco in late May or early June. It has been run since 1929 and is generally acknowledged as one of the most important races, along with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, that comprise the Triple Crown of Motorsport. The track has been described as an extraordinary destination of elegance and reputation.

The race is hosted on a tight course laid out in the picturesque roads of Monaco, with many berms and sharp turns, as well as the infamous tunnel, making it one of Formula One’s most challenging tracks. Despite the relatively low average speeds, the Monaco circuit is a terrifying place to race due to the narrowness of the track, and the race is frequently interrupted by a safety car. It is the sole Grand Prix that does not meet the FIA’s threshold race distance of 305 kilometres.
