Season six of the popular Netflix Docuseries Drive To Survive has been released for fans to enjoy the paddock insights from 2023. Hence, multiple hilarious behind-the-scene moments were seen in the series. Alex Albon was imitating how the show would play out Daniel Ricciardo‘s rollercoaster of a 2023 season in the series.
The Williams driver mentioned that the people at Netflix had to ‘change their pants’ thrice due to dirtying their pants from the excitement of Ricciardo’s return to the sport. Additionally, the 27-year-old claimed that he knew how the episode would pan out and put forth the entire mindset of the directors while discussing the scene in a suspenseful manner.
I literally think they had to change their pants three times.... I know the episode already. Let.... Let me run it through... Ready?Albon told in Drive to Survive (H&T: @SCUDERIAFEMBOY/X).
Albon then played out the entire scene as Drive to Survive producers would do. The Williams driver mentioned how the narration would point out Daniel Ricciardo watching the great circus from the sidelines. Subsequently, the British-Thai hai driver added how the camera would pan to Nyck De Vries and showcase his mistakes while driving. Albon later mentioned how Ricciardo would comment about his return and claim how he ‘never left’ racing in the sport.
Here we have Danny watching on the sidelines, "Yeah it hurts to not be racing," Then all of a sudden, pans to Nyck De Vries. Lock up.... Off the track.. Crash.. Oh Sh*t. Boom. Fast forward, Silverstone. Test. Daniel Ricciardo. Super Quick.. Danny with a big smile on his face, "It is what it is you know? I never left, Im back, Honey Badger, Dont give a shit."

Drive to Survive delved deep into Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 return
Daniel Ricciardo had an uncertain start to the 2023 season of Formula 1. The Aussie was a reserve driver for Red Bull during the start of the season. However, due to Nyck De Vries’ degrading performance, the team ousted the driver and replaced him with the Honey Badger. Hence, Drive to Survive has some great content to follow up about one of the most loved drivers on the grid.
Additionally, Ricciardo sustained a serious injury on his right hand just after acquiring the seat in AlphaTauri (currently VisaCashAppRB). Hence, the driver had to then sit out for five races and only got to race for a few races in the 2023 season. Drive to Survive would dive deep into the behind-the-scenes of the entire procedure and how the driver recovered from the injury and got back into racing.
Hence, the fans enjoy the recap and drama-filled scenes of the 2023 season as the grid prepares for the first race of the 2024 season. The testing sessions have concluded, and Red Bull appears to be following in the footsteps of their dominant 2023 performance. Regardless, multiple teams have showcased improvement from the previous season and would have a great start to the coming season of Formula 1.
