“Alpine is set to expand globally,” Renault Group via press release makes intention clear of being open to outside investment

The Alpine brand has been on the rise ever since the Renault group changed its F1 team’s name to Alpine and while the sport is also in a period of boon, the French team has made its intention known of welcoming third part investment and increasing its operations outside of Europe.

Moreover, the Alpine F1 team is not the only brand that is looking to expand, German Giants, Audi has also recently made it known that they are entering the pinnacle of motor racing in the year 2026.

Porsche also tried to join hands with Red Bull but their deal eventually fell off as the Austrian team was not willing to let go of a significant stake in the team.

The Andretti group is another that is trying extremely hard to get into the sport, and as things stand, are awaiting an answer from the hierarchy at F1.

While there is a lot of outside interest in F1, Stefano Domenicali, the F1 CEO has also recently confirmed that there are four groups that are very much interested in joining the sport.

Alpine’s sales before officially entering F1, were average at best, but since last year, there has been a massive upsurge in the sales of the brand and it is because of the Renault group’s decision to integrate Alpine into F1.

The brand has experienced massive growth internationally as well and its CEO, Laurent Rossi has also previously admitted that the brand’s involvement in F1 has helped in increasing its global presence.

Moreover, the press release of the Renault group stated, “Alpine is set to expand globally with half of its future growth outside of Europe, leveraging commercial partnerships and investors support.”

Alpine is open to capitalize on the financial valuation of its F1 Team assets.”

The French brand has made it crystal clear that it is looking to expand even further than it already has, and for that to happen, is willing to accept third-party investment.

Considering how tough the global market is today, it is a sensible ploy on part of the Renault group to use its F1 team’s presence to boost its international activities.
