Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner is currently under investigation over inappropriate behavior claims. The 50-year-old’s position at Milton Keynes could be at risk if he is proven guilty. Former F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone is reportedly acting as the mediator between Horner and Red Bull GmbH. Now, Ecclestone has finally spoken on this controversial investigation.

Previously, it had been reported that the Ex-F1 Supremo advised Horner to resign before the details of the investigation were revealed to the public. However, the Red Bull team boss has denied the claims so far. Christian Horner was even present at the RB-20 shakedown at Silverstone.

However, the 93-year-old acknowledged that all attention was on Horner’s investigation. Red Bull is a massive global brand and as such, millions of people are keen on knowing the truth behind these claims. The F1 paddock will have a huge impact from this verdict as well.

It should also be considered, however, that Red Bull is a huge company and has everyone's eyes on it. It needs answers.

Can Christian Horner survive as the Red Bull Team Principal?

The 50-year-old has led Milton Keynes in F1 since Red Bull acquired the team almost two decades ago. Under Horner’s leadership, Red Bull Racing became a top team that even outperformed the likes of Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes. However, the 50-year-old could be shown the door soon.

Red Bull even has a potential replacement on the cards if Christian Horner is found guilty. Although, the Briton will continue as the Team Principal of the team till the verdict is released. Subsequently, the Austrian team’s 2024 campaign might be overshadowed by Horner’s investigation.

Certainly, Christian Horner is keen on continuing as the Red Bull team boss. However, only time will tell if the Briton gets to save his F1 career. The allegations against Horner are of serious concern to Red Bull and could have massive implications for the team in the coming weeks.
