Charles Leclerc has been with the Ferrari Formula 1 team for several years and has amassed some success with them. While he feels he has everything he could have ever wanted in life, the only thing missing is winning a Drivers World Championship with the historical Italian outfit.

The Ferrari Formula 1 team has been associated with the pinnacle of motor racing since the very beginning and is easily one of the most successful outfits. So far in its glorious history, the Maranello-based team has amassed a brilliant 16 Constructors and 15 Drivers World Championships.

Charles Leclerc also hopes to win the World Drivers Championship with Ferrari one day, and while recently talking about the things missing from his life when asked by fans he said that the thing he is missing is the world championship. He said, as shown in a video that has gone viral on Social Media, “I’m happy. I have everything I ever wanted in my life, so I’m happy. but the wdc, yes. The wdc with Ferrari. come on, this year it’ll come.”

Looking at the comments of the Monegasque driver, it is pretty clear that he is fully determined to lift the Championship with his current employers at least once. He understands his responsibility as a Scuderia Ferrari driver and wants to bring smiles to the faces of the Tifosi all over the globe.

Charles Leclerc’s best chance of winning the F1 title would come in 2024

While Charles Leclerc has admitted that he desperately wants to win the F1 title with Ferrari, it is impossible during the ongoing campaign. The SF-23 hasn’t been able to stand up against the might of the RB19, and because of this, it is just not possible for Lelecerc and Co. to have a serious go at the title.

However, considering that 2024 would be the third year under the new regulations, it could prove to be the Fred Vasseur-led team’s best opportunity of lifting the Championship. Ferrari has got all the resources at its disposal, and if they can combine the learning of 2022 and the ongoing campaign, Ferrari could produce a Championship-worthy car next year.

Moreover, as per Charles Leclerc’s current deal with the Italian team, 2024 would be his last campaign until he signs a contract extension. Considering this, he would be hungrier than ever next year to go all out to fulfill his heart’s desire. He has all the skills in his arsenal to win the Championship, and the onus would be on Ferrari to produce a competitive car.
