Formula 1 is the pinnacle of the motorsport, there is nothing faster than it and the drivers have to be on top of their game to commandeer their cars. A lot of work goes in behind the scenes by each driver preparing for a Grand Prix. The nutrition, the workout plan, hydration are just a few examples of it. One of the key components, before each race is the warm-up for every driver before stepping into the car.

Warm up plays an essential role in keeping the reactions speed of the drivers in tip-top form on track. The Miami Grand witnessed a lot of celebrities attending the maiden event in the city. One of the big names in the paddock was the Inter-Miami co-owner and football legend, David Beckham. The football star was witnessed in the Ferrari garage passing around the ball with the championship leader, Charles Leclerc ahead of the race.

Charles Leclerc Learns To Bend It Like Beckham

This is not the first time that the Monegasque has been spotted with a football prior to a Formula 1 session. He has been known to enjoy football for very long and has made it an essential part of his pre-race routine. This time around he decided to compete in a football tennis competition with the former England captain, David Beckham.

The Inter-Miami F.C. boss was a popular figure in the paddock. He was spotted in the Red Bull garage and also with Lewis Hamilton. Unfortunately for Leclerc, the warm up with Beckham did not help him take the win of the Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver started the race on pole, but crossed the chequered flag in P2 behind Max Verstappen. Concluding the Miami event, Charles still sit on top of the drivers championship with a lead of 19 points over his rival.
