Things have not been going well for the Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc. He suffered two DNFs in the first three rounds of the 2023 Formula 1 season. This is not an ideal start to the year. In 2022, Leclerc was one of the favorites to win the championship. But he had to settle for P2 after Max Verstappen won his second title early during the season.

Leclerc hoped things would get better in 2023. But it only went downhill. It is understandable that the 25-year-old needs to switch off at times. And home is the best place to do that. But sadly, Leclerc can’t seem to catch a break.  He has revealed that his Monaco home address has been leaked to the public, and people are gathering beneath his apartment asking for autographs.

Charles Leclerc posted on social media urging his fans to respect his privacy. “Hey everyone, for the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs. While I’m always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.”

“I’ll make sure to stop for everyone when you see me on the streets or at the track, but I won’t be coming downstairs if you visit my home. Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed.” Charles Leclerc is one of the most likable personalities on the Formula 1 grid. But there is no reason to take advantage of that and disturb the Monegasque driver.

It has already been a tough year for Leclerc, and this is the last thing he would have wanted. A home is a place where one feels secure. While the Ferrari driver appreciates his fans, he does not want them to visit his home. He stated that it violates his personal space. Leaking the address of others should have severe consequences.

Charles Leclerc has 6 points after the first three races. He is P10 in the driver’s championship. However, there is still time to redeem himself. The question is if Ferrari is up for it. The team suffered from poor strategy calls and reliability issues last season, and it looks like they have not sorted things out. Once the team solves their problem, Charles Leclerc will fight for wins again.
