Christian Horner was accused of inappropriate and Transgressive behavior by a female Red Bull employee. The owners of the F1 team, an Austrian beverage giant, assigned an external law firm to investigate the matter. Despite the drama, Horner has been seen with the team at Silverstone shakedown as well as Bahrain pre-season testing.
During the press conference at the testing, Horner was asked about the investigation and the uncertainty around it. The Englishman asserted that he was a part of the ongoing investigation, and everyone must wait for the final verdict. During the entire process, the Red Bull Team and crew have taken a neutral stance. All other F1 teams have requested openness throughout the probe.
As you’re well aware, there’s a process going on which I form part of. And as I form part of that process, I’m afraid I cannot comment on it.
Horner said, as reported by Autosport
Christian Horner stated that there is an ongoing process of which he is part. Horner then said he wasn’t afraid but did not want to comment on this issue. The investigation is a PR disaster for both Red Bull and Formula One as a whole, and it would be in the best interest of everyone involved that the verdict comes ahead of the first race of the season.
Red Bull didn’t have the best second day of testing at Bahrain
During the first part of the morning session on the second day of Formula 1 pre-season testing, Sergio Perez encountered brake issues. Before returning to the pits after completing three laps, the Red Bull driver’s front right brake caught fire as he was being wheeled back into the garage.

Perez lost at least half an hour of track time as a result of the frantic work that followed on both front axles. With just fifteen minutes remaining in the morning session, the team sent him back out to double-check everything before he returned to the pits.
The Mexican driver will be very keen to perform outstanding performance in the 2024 Season. The 34-year-old contract will be expiring at the end of the 2024 Season. Perez who did not have a good season last year will need to perform better if he wants to stay at the Red Bull Family.
