Sergio Perez, the Red Bull F1 driver, had a roller coaster of a ride during the first leg of the ongoing campaign. He had a few ups with many downs, and with the second leg just around the corner, Christian Horner has shed light on the main targets for the Mexican driver during the remaining races.

Sergio Perez started the 2023 F1 season on an extremely strong note claiming two victories in the first four races. However, as the season rolled on, he got into a rut, from which he just could not get out fully. Christian Horner feels winning the Mexican GP and finishing P2 in the Drivers Championship will be Perez’s main targets for the second leg.

I hope he is disconnecting and relaxing a lot during the break, so he can come back stronger for the following races.”

He’s had a decent year so far, but everything compared to Max, is secondary.”
