The inappropriate behavior allegations are a serious matter of concern. As such, Red Bull GmbH has started an investigation into the 50-year-old. However, it seems that Red Bull will have no choice but to continue its pre-season activities without any concrete verdict on Christian Horner. It must be noted that tensions have reportedly escalated between Horner and other personnel within the team including Max Verstappen.

It is believed that the investigation will be a lengthy process. Horner’s questioning was simply one of the first steps taken by the external barrister. After a wider process which could potentially take weeks, the report of the investigation will be sent to the Red Bull board in Austria. Subsequently, the board will take the final call on the Red Bull Racing Team Principal.

Certainly, Red Bull’s 2024 F1 season might be overshadowed by the ongoing investigation into Christian Horner. The Austrian team might head into the season opener without any conclusion to this case. However, it remains to be seen how the team manages to avoid controversy surrounding Horner in the coming weeks.
