David Beckham joined the Red Bull at the Miami GP

Miami GP is about to begin in a few hours, and the temperature is rising up exponentially as the celebrities from various genres have joined the track and the paddock to support their teams. One of the most eye-catching has been the football superstar from England, David Beckham, who has joined the Red Bull’s garage ahead of the race.

David Beckham is usually spotted on the tennis courts and is often seen during the Wimbledon Cup, which is played annually in England. The football superstar also had an all smile interaction with the Red Bull drivers Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen.


The other notable celebrities to join the race are Transformer’s director Michael Bay, musicians DJ Khaled and Will I am amongst the others. DJ Khaled was spotted posing along with the McLaren team in the garage.

Why is the Miami GP getting all the hype?

F1, as a sport, has always attracted a large number of celebrities for its races. But weekends at the venues such as those in Monaco, Singapore and now Miami are always the favourites to receive more hype and attention since these places are believed to be exotic and known as vacation favourites of the celebrities.

As the weekend approached, we saw tonnes of photos coming in from different parties. During the first on-stage event with all the drivers, DJ Kygo and Joe Jonas performed. Mercedes’ party also made headlines as several music artists, including Will.i.am and DJ Khaled were pictured. 

Miami is also known as a hub for sporting events and is home to several athletes. While Lewis Hamilton enjoyed a game of golf with NFL superstar Tom Brady, his teammate enjoyed a Miami Heat’s NBA game.
