Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari F1 driver, has had a torrid time behind the wheel of the SF-23 this year. Considering his frustration, he has occasionally spoken up against the Italian team, and former F1 team owner Eddie Jordan has advised Leclerc not to do it as it could land him in deep trouble.

Charles Leclerc came into the 2023 F1 season with the hopes of challenging for the Drivers Championship; however, just after nine rounds, his hopes have disappeared into the smoke. The Red Bull F1 team’s RB19 has proved too mighty, and Ferrari’s SF-23 has proved to be too timid in comparison to it.

The 25-year-old is disappointed with the state of things on his team and has let his emotions get the better of him. Eddie Jordan, while keeping this at the back of his mind, said, “If anything, it’s gone backwards. I’ve never heard Charles Leclerc be so critical of a team as he was this weekend. Leclerc was critical of the team. Have you ever heard that before? Yes, Alain Prost in 1991. Do you know what happened? Yeah, he got fired! I was there [on the grid].

Eddie Jordan, via his comments, has warned Charles Leclerc not to get too excited while talking about the legendary Ferrari Formula 1 team. He ardently feels that what happened with Alain Prost back in 1991 could happen again if the Monegasque keeps on saying certain things about the team.

While Jordan has asked Charles Leclerc to be careful while talking about the Maranello-based team, David Coulthard feels he is almost untouchable on the Italian team. While talking about the same, he said, “That’s a good point, he got fired for saying the car was a dog or donkey or something like that.

I’ll tell you what – the day Ferrari fire Charles Leclerc is a day that’s never going to be seen because he is a talent – no question – and that talent just needs the last little bit. The icing on the cake will be when he gets into being a regular winner, and then the confidence will grow and I’m sure we’re gonna see great things from him in the future,” he added.

Charles Leclerc is considered one of the hottest properties on the F1 grid and is seen as a huge mega talent. However, despite his skills, h has so far lacked a car in which he could challenge for the F1 World Championship. Would Ferrari be able to provide him with a potent car in the upcoming season?
