Formula 1, in recent years, has been doing its best to widen the scope of the sport as much as possible. In a step in that direction, the higher-ups of the sport have decided to join hands with the streaming giants, Paramount+ on a multi-year deal. It is a win-win situation for both parties considering the rapid influx in the viewership numbers of F1.

Everyone is ecstatic with the deal, and the Managing Director of Commercials at F1, Brandon Snow, while talking about it, said, “This partnership exemplifies Formula 1’s ongoing commitment to exploring new avenues to help promote the sport and appeal to new audiences. Paramount+ and the content on its platform are hugely popular and like F1 has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Together, we will use our global platforms and collective expertise in entertainment to further enhance the fan experience and take both Formula 1 and Paramount+ to new levels.

It is crystal clear that everyone at F1 is elated with the new multi-year deal. As per the recent goals of the sport, it is extremely important for F1 to reach wider audiences and add to its already increasing fanbase. Having a strong streaming partner like Paramount is certainly going to help the sport immensely in achieving its targets.

Moreover, as per the deal, it is a common belief that Paramount+ will have its branding on tracks, physical trackside signage, digital sponsorships, and promotional opportunities in Miami, Montréal, Spielberg, Silverstone, Monza, Suzuka, Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo, and even Las Vegas. It seems that Paramount+ is also keen on using the global fanbase of F1 in its own personal growth.
