The entire Christian Horner investigation saga has been receiving major updates with each passing day. Hence, as Red Bull prepares for the challenges in the upcoming season, Formula 1 authorities finally break their silence over the entire matter. Currently, the case has been weakening against the 50-year-old as major news gets leaked over the status quo.

The majority of the grid had shared their opinions over the case and about Horner’s alleged sexually transgressive behavior against the employee. However, the Red Bull crew decided to keep the entire development private and not reveal anything to the public. Regardless, multiple details got leaked from multiple news media and it seems that the odds are against Horner’s favor.

Formula 1 decided to share a public statement over the ongoing investigation against Christian Horner. The body mentioned that they have noted the Red Bull’s independent investigation over the matter. Additionally, F1 shared their hopes to conclude the investigation as soon as possible following a fair and thorough process. However, the authorities refused to comment any further on the topic as the entire grid awaits the results of the investigation.

Christian Horner reportedly offered up to $800k to silence the female victim

The entire saga has been related to allegations made by a certain female employee within the team. Hence, recently, De Telegraaf leaked major developments over the entire investigation saga. The Dutch newspaper mentioned that Christian Horner had reportedly offered the female employee up to $800k in order to silence her from publishing the allegations.

Horner’s lawyers also reported to the female employee within 24 hours of the entire matter being made public. Additionally, the 50-year-old had formally rejected any such allegations on his behalf and how he had done nothing of the sort. Apart from this, the principal was offered to mutually resign from the team much before any of the details got public solely to save his image in the sport. Regardless, Horner declined these offers and decided to fight the case out in the courts.

The female employee might take the entire case to the English courts in order to speed up the process. Regardless, she currently is on leave from working at Milton Keynes following the entire investigation process. Hence, the team wishes for a quick result to not sabotage the team’s 2024 campaign. Horner’s exit from the team just before the commencement of the season would highly affect the team’s season.
