Sebastian Vettel is saying sayonara at the end of the 2022 F1 season but with Monza the upcoming Grand Prix, the German has come up with a special helmet design to celebrate his first F1 race win that he managed at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit back in 2008.

Moreover, it is not the only reason that has urged Sebastian Vettel to support a new helmet design as the motorsports community is also celebrating 100 years of racing at the Italian circuit.

The Monza Circuit is popularly known as the Temple of Speed and over its 100 years of history has been the center stage for many great Grand Prix events.

With Vettel deciding to hang up his gloves at the end of the current campaign, it is very fitting to see him support a new helmet design for the Italian Grand Prix.

The 35-year-old is supporting a white colored helmet that has got the Italian Flag that stretches from the back all the way to the front and when it comes to the side, the helmet has got the layout of the Monza Circuit with the number 100 written over it, marking the 100 years of racing.

The Italian Grand Prix is the 16th round of the 2022 F1 season and Sebastian’s Vettel time in the sport is running out with the passing of every Grand Prix.

Including Monza, there are 7 races to go this season and the German would be looking to enjoy the upcoming events as much as possible because it is very hard to leave something that you have loved all your life and in Vettel’s case, it’s F1.

In Abu Dhabi, Vettel will bid adieu to the sport as one of the greats that have ever stepped foot in F1. Moreover, With him leaving the sport at the end of the year, teams from many other race categories have been knocking on the German’s door regarding his future plans and considering he is a former four-time F1 World Champion, it does not come as a huge surprise.
