A wet qualifying session for the Brazil GP sprint race was all that the fans needed to shake off some of the boredom building up from Max Verstappen’s dominance. Kevin Magnussen rose to the occasion as he went on to surprise everyone including his team as he went on to achieve his maiden pole position. What an iconic track to achieve your first pole position along with it also being the team’s first one as an American F1 team.

On the first row of the grid, Kevin will be joined by the 2022 F1 world champion Max Verstappen as he aims to repeat his sprint race success. The main person that the Danish driver has to thank for the pole position has to be George Russell who spun his Mercedes at the start of Q3 which resulted into a red flag being brought out. With the rain constantly coming down, there was no chance that others were going to get a better lap-time in.

With the penultimate grand prix weekend of the F1 calendar taking place, Haas have made their mark in history as an unpredictable rainy season came in clutch to help Haas F1 get Kevin Magnussen to start on pole position. However it will be harder for the team to tackle this situation in the race with an ever charging bull like Max Verstappen ready to pounce on him at the start itself. It is safe to say that tomorrow’s race is going to be very interesting.
