The 2024 F1 Pre-season is underway. While the entire paddock has been focused on Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, Haas has become the first team to reveal its new car. The American team shared the picture of its 2024 challenger, the VF-24 on its social media handles. Gene Haas‘ team had a revamped livery for its new machinery.
In the launch trailer on X, the team showcased multiple angles of its new car. The Haas VF-24 livery seems to be an evolution of last year’s design with a predominantly black paint scheme. Albeit, the white on the front of the car has reduced substantially potentially to keep the weight low. Moreover, the ‘Haas’ branding on the side pods has increased in size.
The Haas challenger continues to have prominent Moneygram branding and red inserts. Certainly, the American team has managed to enhance the look of its car for the upcoming season. Additionally, the sidepods seem to have a more radical design compared to last season. Although, it must be noted that the team would hide most of its advancements till pre-season testing commences.
Fans have mixed opinions over Haas’s new livery
Fans on X were divided over the VF-24. Some users liked the design of the livery despite the additional exposed carbon on the car. One fan wrote, “That’s a lot of exposed carbon, but looks good.” While another user reckoned that the carbon showed that the team was struggling with the weight of the car. The user replied, “They just admitting that they can‘t fix their weight problems.”
Most users reckoned that it was sad to see such a decent livery as the VF-24 would struggle at the back of the grid. One fan commented, “Shame it’s gonna be slow.” Another user claimed that at least Haas would finish last in style with this eye-catching design. The user stated, “We will finish every race DNF-P17 but we will do it with style.”

Certainly, Haas has a striking design for the upcoming F1 season. However, it remains to be seen if the American team can solve its issues this year which harmed its prospects in 2023. As such, fans would be eagerly waiting to see the VF-24 hit the track in pre-season testing.
