“Mercedes downfall we here” – Fans react as Mercedes conducts an emergency meeting after tumultuous day 2 of pre-season testing

The Mercedes F1 team meeting after day 2 of pre-season testing

The Mercedes F1 team fell behind Red Bull and Ferrari in 2022. The Silver Arrows failed to capitalize on F1’s new regulations and managed to get only 1 race win. Consequently, the Brackley-based team has worked extensively on improving its car for this season. However, it seems that things have not gone to plan, as the German squad recently held an emergency meeting.

On the second day of pre-season testing in Bahrain, George Russell‘s W14 stopped on the track. The team mentioned this to be a hydraulic issue on the car. Subsequently, Mercedes was quick to react as the team gathered to discuss this concern. Team Principle, Toto Wolff was present in this meeting alongside both drivers and some of the engineers.
