The Las Vegas Street circuit is the third American race weekend in this season. The Las Vegas GP is held for the first time, and everyone highly anticipates the circuit. Ahead of the race weekend, images of the circuit not being ready have been revealed to the public.

The circuit stretches 6.201km around the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. The track also features 17 corners and runs counterclockwise in addition to the 1.900km long straight. The Las Vegas GP is included in the modern F1 calendar for the first time. The 1982 Caesars Palace GP was the first time the drivers took onto the Nevadan circuit. This race was kind of a makeshift race that started from the parking lot, which is now converted into the paddock.

However, the drivers are now relieved to race at the Nevadan circuit as the weekend is a normal race weekend after a long tripleheader in the past months. Many drivers are thrilled to race on the Las Vegas circuit for the first time, anticipating a mega show before the race.

Since the track was unveiled for the first time, many drivers and teams have also expressed uncertainty over the weekend. The drivers need to spend extended hours on the simulator to get acquainted with the Nevadan track. The freezing temperatures of 4°C might cause further issues for the drivers and teams.

Fans expressed their issues with the Las Vegas track

In a recent tweet on X, the majority of the fans denigrated the track for its awkward turns and planning. Multiple fans talked about a probable ‘sh**show’ at the overly-anticipated Las Vegas GP. Another fan exclaimed that the pit exit from the paddocks looks problematic as the pit comes out into a blind corner.

Another fan claimed that the Las Vegas GP looked like a waste of time and insisted that F1 should have stuck to a singular race in the country. Other fans called the race to be of ‘mid’ tier as the track looked unready to most. An additional fan added that the race will be cringe for some reason or another.

Since the track is included for the first time in over 40 years, most people are satiated and excited about the race. However, the race has flaws and imperfections that should be amended by the next season. And with the third American weekend, fans have also talked about the excess of American involvement in the race weekends.
