“Ferrari are Formula One,” Caitlyn Jenner startles Red Bull boss Christian Horner in Netflix’s Drive to Survive

Netflix has dropped the most awaited series, Formula One: Drive to Survive. Season five is as dramatic as the other seasons. The show brings exclusive footage that fans would not have seen during the race. There is a scene of Caitlyn Jenner, the American Media Personality and former Olympic gold medallist speaking to Christian Horner in the third episode.
This particular episode focuses on Ferrari, titled “Matter of Principals”. During the Miami Grand Prix last season, a few words were exchanged between Caitlyn Jenner and Christian Horner. The scene lasted for hardly a few seconds, but the message received was loud and clear. The Formula One fans have gone wild over this clip.
The scene begins with Caitlyn Jenner and Horner exchanging pleasantries. She then tells him, “Ferrari doing well is just great for the series. I mean, they are Formula One”. Horner looked puzzled, and the entire vibe turned cold. The fans were quick to notice this awkward encounter. This incident amused them. It is like Sebastian Vettel said: “Everybody is a Ferrari fan even if they say they are not a Ferrari fan”. Because, Horner initially agreed and said “yes” to Ferrari doing well is great for the series, but his facial expressions changed once he heard his competitors were the face of Formula One.

Caitlyn Jenner left Christian Horner dumbfounded by her sassy one-liner
Christian Horner is one of the most competitive team principals in the sport. As Mercedes were out of the picture last season, his main rival was Ferrari. However, they did flop with their strategy and driver drama. Horner capitalized on their mistakes and took the team forward. Red Bull won the championship long before the season was over.
Caitlyn Jenner was brutal to Horner, but the fans enjoyed this drama. The clip went viral on Twitter. Jenner then tweeted apologizing to Horner, “Awkward!!! Hahah oops, sorry, Horner (Red Bull), love you guys but love Ferrari, it’s all love!” This gained a lot of attention on social media.
It is quite easy to comprehend why Ferrari is given importance over Red bull. It is a legendary team with a rich history. So much, so they have an advantage just for showing up in Formula One, it does not matter how popular they are to Horner, he still views them as his rivals. The Red Bull team boss was certainly not impressed with Caitlyn Jenner’s one-liner.
