FIA breaks silence on race interference allegations against Mohammed Ben Sulayem

Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the FIA President, has become the talk of the town in recent times. Since the revealing of the race interference allegations against him, a lot has been said in the paddock and people all over the globe are talking about it.

It has come to light that as per an FIA whistleblower, Mohammed Ben Sulayem allegedly tried to stop the 2023 Las Vegas GP from taking place. He tried to find faults and mistakes in the track to debar the license of the event.

While a a lot has been said about the Sulayem saga, F1’s governing body, the FIA has broken the silence on the matter, and said,

FIA confirms the Compliance Officer has received a report detailing potential allegations involving certain members of its governing bodies. The Compliance Department is assessing these concerns, as is common practice in these matters, to ensure that due process is meticulously followed.

The allegations against Sulayem are very serious and the FIA has admitted that it has started its own process to get to the bottom of it. Moreover, has assured everyone that all the necessary steps are properly being followed in assessing the allegations.
