Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, is finding it extremely hard to get a good night’s sleep these days. He is getting bashed from all angles and while new findings are popping up regarding the inappropriate behavior allegation every now and then, it has recently come to light that Red Bull’s 2026 partner, Ford, wants swift action and the utmost transparency.
Ford being the family-oriented brand that it is, is taking the ongoing investigation very seriously. Moreover, as per Financial Times, it has been made known that last week, they sent a letter to Red Bull regarding the same.
In a very recent interview with Sky Sports, Ford’s head of global motorsport, Mark Rushbrook said, as reported by Financial Times:
As a family company that holds itself to very high standards of behavior and integrity, we expect the same from our partners.
While Ford will officially enter into a partnership with Red Bull from 2026 onwards, it has already started collaborating with them. They have been working together on things like the work on batteries and some other collaborative projects.
Christian Horner is expected to be on the pit wall during the Bahrain race weekend
While Ford has urged the Red Bull F1 team to resolve the ongoing Christian Horner matter as quickly as possible, there is a general belief that the Brit will be present on the Austrian outfit’s pit wall during the Bahrain GP weekend.
The 50-year-old was present during the launch of the RB20 and all his actions pointed to him being present on the pit wall during the first race weekend of the 2024 F1 season. The Bahrain race weekend is slated to kick off on the 29th of February.

Moreover, while several people want to see a swift conclusion to the inappropriate behavior investigation, in all likelihood, it is going to drag on into the upcoming campaign. By the time the Saudi weekend comes around, an announcement could be expected. Until then, the rumor mill will keep on churning out fascinating stories around the Horner saga.
