Former F1 manager BLASTS Red Bull for ‘most absurd’ situation with Christian Horner as he calls for someone to ‘pull the string now’

A few weeks ago it was revealed that an investigation against Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was going on. The investigation has been speculated to end anytime soon and provide a verdict. However, this saga has tarnished the image of the team and the brand overall around the world. Now, Eddie Jordan has presented his views on the tussle going on behind the scenes at Milton Keynes.

Since the original complaints by Horner’s colleague, the Briton has been adamant that he is innocent and will not resign from the post. On the other hand, Oliver Mintzlaf, the current head of Red Bull wants to sack Horner as it is creating a bad reputation for the brand. However, Mintzlaf is unable to as he holds a minority stake and the majority Thai stakeholder is adamant about keeping the the 50-year-old. Subsequently, this has led to an awkward situation and the former F1 manager has commented on the situation.

I have seen many wrong decisions. But the Red Bull situation is the most absurd I have ever seen. Of course, Horner has the presumption of innocence, but does anyone seriously believe that the employee made the accusations out of thin air? If Horner is innocent, is she guilty? The damage to Red Bull's image is already enormous. Someone has to pull the string now.
Eddie Jordan said as reported by gpblog.com

The Irish explained that he has witnessed multiple wrong decisions in retrospect to such instances. However, the situation in Red Bull is absurd as there is a tussle between both stakeholders. This situation of both brand image being tarnished and internal struggles going on in the team will not have a good effect on its employees and fans worldwide.
