Formula 1 all-set to invest a whopping $500 million towards the development of the Las Vegas Facility
Las Vegas GP
F1 has taken up a huge project on board with next year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, and while it is estimated that the acquisition of land and the construction of the paddock is going to cost a fortune, Steve Sisolak, the governor of Nevada, has recently come out and made it known that the facility alone is going to cost around $500 million.
This is an insane amount of money but considering the hype that has already been built around the next year’s event, it does not come as a huge surprise that the whole construction is going to cost F1 a whopping sum of money.
Moreover, if this year’s Miami Grand Prix is anything to go by, the race at the Iconic Las Vegas strip is also going to be a memorable event that will remain fresh in the memory of fans for some time to come.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix is slated to be the penultimate race of the 2023 F1 season and will take place on 18th November, until then, F1 has got time to get everything ready, but it is not going to be an easy task.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix has gained a lot of attention
Ever since the official 2023 F1 calendar has come out to the public, the hype around the Las Vegas Grand Prix has kept on building, and with the recent launch party at Las Vegas where starts like Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, and Sergio Perez were present, the interest in the event has gone off the roof.
This year’s Miami event had a carnival-like atmosphere where many drivers admitted that the feeling was surreal around the event, and, with Las Vegas slated to be at the back end of the 2023 calendar where things can get tight in the Championship, there is a very good chance that the atmosphere, during the event, could potentially become the best in the sport’s history.
In America, fans love their racing and now with three events set to take place in the country next year, the interest is going to keep on developing among the masses during 2023, and it will be fascinating to see the atmosphere during the event.
Considering everything that has gone on so far, how do you see the event panning out next year?
