Willy T. Ribbs, The American racing icon puts his money on King Charles showing up at the Las Vegas Grand Prix

The debut race on the iconic ‘Vegas Strip’ has swiftly become the standout event on the 2023 Formula 1 calendar. The imminent Grand Prix Weekend in Las Vegas marks the penultimate round of the 2023 season and is undoubtedly the most anticipated GP weekend of the year. With various American celebrities and notable personalities expected to grace the inaugural Grand Prix, the true scale of international star appearances will only be fully realized once the Las Vegas GP weekend kicks off.

Renowned retired American racer Willy T Ribbs, known for his stints in the Trans-Am series, Indycar, and NASCAR Cup series, shared his predictions for the most significant celebrity presence during the race weekend. Ribbs anticipates a celebrity turnout surpassing genuine fans, going as far as saying that even the presence of King Charles at the event wouldn’t surprise him.

I would not be shocked because the A-list is going to be insane. You're going to be bumping into more celebrities and sports stars than you will fans. It is going to be mega, I would not be shocked if King Charles showed up.

Concluding his thoughts on the upcoming race, Willy T Ribbs boldly declared the Las Vegas GP as the ‘most glamorous’ race in the history of motorsport, describing it as the “biggest race in racing history” without exaggeration.
