Nicholas Latifi has been a very hot topic this season. The Canadian has been performing very poorly throughout this season. Ever since Abu Dhabi 2021 controversy, Latifi has been brutally trolled by all the fans on social media with his super famous nickname ‘Goatifi’. Well as much as trolling is wrong, the reasons behind it can’t be argued. Latifi has successfully turned the results of two races all by himself.

Latifi came to the sport with a decent amount of talent. Though he never got himself on the race-leading cars, he still performed very finely in a Williams. As of 2022, Latifi will be leaving Williams and might also leave the sport as he has no other team to drive for. With such a poor performance throughout the season, Japan GP did go his way after he managed points to finish for the first time this season.

Jenson Button, a former world champion appreciated the efforts he and his team managed to put in after such a difficult year. “Great job by @NicholasLatifi and @WilliamsRacing in tricky conditions to jump on the inters at the right time and bring it home to grab a couple of points,” said Button.

Nicholas Latifi has managed to get himself bad recognition after a poor performance this season. Nothing will change his deeds in the sport after crashing his car twice on the wall, which ultimately changed the whole race scenario. Fans see Latifi as just a seat-warming driver with no talent.

“F1 cars on dry is too fast for Latifi. If the cars were like 10s/lap slower, like in the wet, he actually would be capable of racing,” mentioned a fan on Twitter.

Williams his season has been pretty amazing after multiple points finish with Alex Albon. Though they are still last on the table, Williams does have the capability to fight on the mid if given the right drivers.
