Red Bull Racing is currently going through a difficult period. Team Principal Christian Horner is under investigation for alleged inappropriate behavior towards an employee. The F1 team’s parent company Red Bull GmbH has taken the matter seriously and Horner could be shown the door. This has brought up rumors about Red Bull Motorsport Consultant Dr. Helmut Marko potentially forming a conspiracy against the 50-year-old.
Marko has remained silent on Christian Horner’s investigation so far. However, it is widely known that the 80-year-old had tensions with Horner at the team last season. So much so, that Helmut Marko had to dismiss speculation about leaving Red Bull. Now, the Motorsport Consultant might gain more power within the team if the Briton is forced to resign.

F1 journalist Christian Nimmervoll claimed that Marko had refused to talk about Christian Horner. However, the 80-year-old made a rather interesting comment when he was directly asked if there was a conspiracy against the Red Bull team boss. Marko simply mentioned that Horner had done a great job for Milton Keynes over the years, while blatantly ignoring the question.
