“He’s screwed up enough himself,” Ralf Schumacher blames Charles Leclerc rather than Ferrari for the Monaco incident

The Monaco Grand Prix looked in the hands of Charles Leclerc on Sunday after he had locked pole position during qualifying and managed to maintain the lead after the delayed race start. Leclerc managed to lead the race on wet tyres even when most drivers had pitted for intermediates, but then a wrong pit strategy by the Ferrari team saw Leclerc losing his place to Sergio Perez and moving back to P4, as Red Bull had a stacked pit stop themselves, which they managed to do pretty well.
Leclerc tried to fight back the place but he couldn’t as Monaco is known for being hard to overtake and also DRS wasn’t available to the drivers. Soon after, Mick Schumacher crashed and split his car in half, which was followed by a safety car and then a red flag.

Under the red flag, both the Red Bulls shifted to mediums but the Ferraris still stuck upon the hards. The race went underway again, but as the medium tyres started to wear out, it looked like Charles, who was running P4, and Sainz, who was running P2, had a really good chance to overtake.
However that could not happen because of the backmarkers causing trouble, as Leclerc even screamed on the radio about Albon ignoring the blue flag.
Former F1 driver, Ralf Schumacher, sibling of legend Michael Schumacher, shared his views on Leclerc and Ferrari. He said that the Monegasque has made more mistakes than the team has, and should start learning now.

“The team has done less wrong than he has,” states Schumacher.
Ralf said that after the mistakes Leclerc has made, he should be more patient with the car rather than rushing in.
“He’s screwed up enough himself, so he should be meek,” were his words, as stated by PlanetF1.
“Things happen.“You win together and lose together. So far, the team has done less wrong than he has.”
As of now, Leclerc has managed to win 2 Grand Prix this season, and sits 2nd in the championship with 116 points, behind Max Verstappen, who leads with 125 points.
