The 2022 season break has started and like any other driver, George Russell is seemingly having an enjoyable time with himself, as seen in his latest Tweet. Every year, (usually right before the Belgian Grand Prix), there is a month’s break in the sport, when the teams and drivers have time for themselves and with their families. Being a F1 driver is not an easy job, a day in the life of a driver is tough. Tight schedules with rigorous workouts forms just a part of one day, and the regular travel between countries for the races makes it a tiresome affair for them.

Most of the drivers have been uploading pictures with their families, friends, and close ones. Even other members of the team now have a break with the daily hassle of training and studying the car. Formula 1 officially posted an artwork for the same where all of the drivers could be seen enjoying their time, funny enough, Russell’s latest post and he himself in the artwork look exactly the same, something pointed out by Formula 1 in the comments.
George Russell’s performance impressive this year
The season has not been an easy one for Mercedes, but at the same time, Russell has had wonderful performance, and now that the car has caught-up with other faster cars on the grid, the team is only a little distant from Ferrari who are in 2nd place in the championship standings. They have had 2 double podium finishes until now, and are looking good for the upcoming season.
The summer break would end in a few weeks, and the action will restart in Belgium, on 26th of August.
