How long was Jules Bianchi in coma? What injuries did he suffer?

Jules Bianchi signed for the Marussia F1 team in 2013 after having been a testing driver for Ferrari in 2011 and a loanee test driver for Sahara Force India in 2012. However, his crash at the Suzuka, i.e., The Japanese GP held on October 5, 2014, sadly brought an end to his life on 17 July 2015. The French driver’s death was the first since Ayrton Senna’s in 1994 at the San Marino GP.
The race was being held under severely wet conditions. Bianchi crashed into a crane at turn 7 after having slowed down before approaching the turn. The crane was taking away Adrian Sutil’s car, which had crashed on the same turn a lap before.
Jules didn’t respond to any of the radio calls or the marshalls. He was being treated at the medical center on the track and was taken to the hospital via road because of poor weather conditions. This took more than half an hour compared to a helicopter. He was put under an induced coma until 19 November 2014. Later he was more accessible to his family.
What injuries did Jules Bianchi concur?

The crash of Bianchi looked horrible from the moment it happened. The impact was strong enough to tilt the crane carrying Sutil’s car, which eventually dropped as it was being carried off from the track.
Bianchi suffered a diffuse axonal injury, which was informed two days after the crash. This injury is caused when the brain moves within the skull, which can potentially damage the brain tissues and cause swelling. An FIA report read, “The CT scan shows that he has suffered a severe head injury and he is currently undergoing surgery. Following this he will be moved to intensive care where he will be monitored.”
After undergoing emergency surgery, he was placed in an induced coma for over a month. Despite being out of the coma, he was unconscious and in a critical condition. As no progress was made, the family became less optimistic about recovery, and on 13 July 2015, Bianchi departed.
